Built on top of a basalt rock, Burg Stolpen is the most impressive castle in the neighbourhood of Villa Richter. Here, the Countess of Cosel, mistress of Augustus II the Strong, spent 49 years of her life, mainly against her will.

The attic with its old beams, entresol and heigh ceiling sets the atmosphere of Stolpen. Natural materials and matching colours characterize its interior design.

Stolpen Ost and West are adjacent and therefore ideally suited to use as one accomodation. An attractive option for befriended couples and big families (up to 8 Persons). The apartments have their own entrances and are connected by a corridor, which is accessible through a joined entrance (lockable).

The floor area covers 53,7 m² in total. This does not include the patio, entresol and corridor between Stolpen Ost and West. The corridor (7,5 m²) offers plenty of room to leave your shoes, suitcases etcetera.

There is a really spacious balcony (14,8 m²)  for your use facing the woods from Villa Richter. It is the the perfect place to lounge or dine al fresco with a group of up to six people.

The wicker double bed is placed under the sloping roof in the space next to the living area.

The entresol is a perfect sleeping place for children. The entresol (6,1 m²)  has enough space for three persons to sleep comfortably.  You can adjust the led lights to their favourite colour before they go to sleep.

The comfortable 2.5 seter sofa and the two easy chairs add to the homely atmosphere.

The big cosy kitchen-diner is completely furnished.
It contains a 143 liter fridge with freezer compartment (18 liter).
The dinner table, with schist table top, accommodates four people.
When folded out it can seat six.
Please, mind the weight of the table top when you fold it out.

The bathroom, or wellnessroom, has two washbasins, a bath and a walk-in shower both large enough for both of you.
